The final day of FMF 2011 highlighted developments within the Nigerian movie industry, affectionately known as Nollywood. This event brought a packed house of around 250 attendees, ranging from Georgia Tech students to the Consul General of Nigeria. A delegation of about twenty scholars and top Nollywood artists were present and held a brilliant Birds of a Feather session. Senior government officials also attended, including the Chair of the Nigerian Communications Commission. The main FMF/Nollywood co-production was the Wednesday night film screening of Memories of My Heart, followed by an insightful panel discussion with its producers, director, three of the major film stars, and the President of the Nigerian Association of Film Producers.

Thanks to everyone who made this wonderful event possible!
