Mobile App for Developmental Milestone Tracking
Do you want to understand your child’s development? There’s a Georgia Tech app for that! Do you have a child between the age of 1 month and 5 years? Do you use an Android phone with a data plan? Then you can join a new Georgia Tech study! We have a mobile app that allows parents to keep track of their child’s physical, emotional and cognitive growth. We are recruiting parents to download our new app and join our study. Parents who decide to enroll in the study will be asked to give us feedback on it so that we can improve the next version. Please fill out this form. You may also contact Rosa Arriaga with any questions.
Am I Stressed?
Validation research led by Dr. Jiten Chhabra at the Interactive Media Technology Center at Georgia Tech looks at the effects of using various health-tech tools over time on health and wellness. Their group is currently enrolling participants for a trial of a novel stress reduction technology that uses voice to measure and reduce stress. Please consider signing up for the trial if you are interested in receiving access to state of the art tools to scientifically measure your stress levels over a 10-week period. These will include validated questionnaires, symptom checklists and lab tests for physiological bio-markers of stress in various phases of the trial. Some participants will also receive access to clinically proven stress reduction therapies like Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) for comparison. You can check if you are eligible for participation here.
